Writing has been a big part of my life since the sixth grade when I discovered my first volume of Dickens. My love of words and beautiful sentences and meaningful stories have driven me to put my own out into the world. This need, this drive–it is a gift and it is a curse. Often it’s both in the same day. Regardless, it’s who I am, and I strive to be authentically me every day.

Living the creative life means living with your eyes open. You must see past the prosaic outer shell of things and into their core. The world is extraordinary and horrific in equal parts, but often not in the ways you think.
